This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Mountain Crest Mortgage, Inc. web site. On some pages, you may apply to be prequalified for a mortgage, authorize Mountain Crest Mortgage to run a credit report, enter an interest rate for your refinance goal or request that a mortgage specialist contact you to discuss your home mortgage or refinance options. The types of personal information that may be requested from these pages are:

• Income
• Liabilities
• Social Security number

The way we use this information:

We may use the information you provide about yourself to prequalify you for a mortgage and/or to run a credit report. As a necessary part of completing certain requested transactions, such as the generation of a credit report, your information must be shared with a credit- reporting bureaus in order to generate the report. Your information will not be shared this way unless you actually request a report. Please note that even if we have your on-line authorization to run a credit report, we will not do so until we have spoken to you and received a verbal or written authorization.

We use return e-mail addresses and/or phone numbers to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

Any credit information submitted online is used for the sole purpose of prequalifying you for a mortgage or requesting a credit report. Credit information will not be used for any other reason or shared with any outside parties.

Finally, we never use or share the personal information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

Our commitment to data security:

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and insure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Once your information has been transmitted to Mountain Crest Mortgage, Inc., it is removed from our online system and reduced to a paper file as an extra security measure. If you would like to later review or update your maintained information, please contact us by e-mail or telephone using the contact information listed below. To protect the security and integrity of your data, we also verify identity before granting access or making corrections to information.
